I sometimes struggle with ‘trying to take it all in’?
I love my morning quiet time so I can reflect, feel, and process.
I am in an incredible place, with birds chirping, and let’s be honest ‘heat and humidity like south Florida in July - and AC not readily available.’
I am here with my family of 5, my brother and his family of 6, and Christmas Day is tomorrow.
This sacred holiday feels unlike any other Christmas before, and I want so badly to connect with the spirit of it all.
Here, in Watamu Kenya, there is no frantic shopping at big shopping malls, no Amazon deliveries on your door, no plethora of Christmas lights or stressed people.
It’s simply Life. Each human living their life in a pace that works for them. Much slower here. And so interesting and beautiful.
Today, I plan to visit a local church, remember the why of it all, probably cry in immense gratitude for life, and practice appreciating each moment.
I simply want to be my best version so that I can help our world.
So I sit, reflect, crying tears of gratitude and share this message with you.
Merry Christmas.๐โค๏ธ
